Price Factor 1: Condition

Mossberg MC1s are like most other guns. They’re worth more when in great condition.

New or Mint

New or mint MC1s are guns that haven’t been used at all. They’ve been in their boxes, unfired, since purchase from a dealer. Because they’re in perfect condition, they get the best prices.

Excellent

If your gun is in excellent condition, it’s only been fired a few times thus far. The marks of use or handling should be so slight that they take time to find. You can charge perhaps 10% less than mint guns for these.

Very Good

You can charge about 20% less than the mint price for these. These are lightly used guns that have so few marks of use that you can practically count them.

Good

These are well-used guns that have received proper care and maintenance. They’re relatively worn, yes, but only from reasonable use. They still have perfect function. You can sell your MC1sc for as much as 30% less than mint if it’s in this tier.

Fair

This is what happens when a gun is well-used but not taken care of. You’ll see dents, scratches, maybe even slight issues that could’ve been avoided with proper care. These are often valued at about 40% less than the mint price.

Poor

This is the tier where a gun falls if it’s in such bad condition that you can see rust on it. Broken guns fall in this class too. You’ll be lucky to get 50% of the mint value.

Price Factor 2: Accessories

Mossberg MC1sc pistols aren’t glamour guns. Like most of the other striker-fired pistols – the Glock 43 or SIG P365, for example – they’re practical workhorses.

So, most of the accessories actually valued by buyers aren’t too high-ticket either. Instead, they’re practical additions like more mags or holsters.

The original mags for these are actually quite popular for several reasons. An easy-to-remove floor plate with a clear follower made them very unusual.

Value: Around $10-15 per mag

Holster

The MC1sc is most often paired with a Kydex or leather holster. Depending on the brand and its condition, you can get as much as 50% of the holster’s original value. DeSantis ones are usually enduringly popular.

Value: Around 30% to 50% of retail
