Value Factor 2: Glock 43 Models
Glock 43 Value

The average used Glock 43 is worth $180 to $330. A new Glock 43 sells for $448 at retail ($358 for Blue Label).
The original concealed-carry Glock. It can carry 6 rounds and has a unique magazine because of its size. This means its magazines aren’t interchangeable with other Glocks, even the 43X.
Glock 43X Value

The average used Glock 43X is worth $190 to $350. A new Glock 43X sells for $448 at retail.
The Glock 43X is the bigger version of the 43. It still uses the Slimline frame but it has increased mag capacity of 10 rounds.
Most people who get it over the 43 do so because of the longer grip, though it’s less concealable.
Glock 43X MOS Value

The average used Glock 43X MOS is worth $220 to $440 without the Shield optic, $350 to $640 with the Shield optic. A new G43X MOS sells for $740 at retail ($499 without the optic).
This is just the modern version of the 43X with the MOS. This stands for the modular optic system, which allows easy optic mounting for users.
There’s a version of this with the RMSc Shield red dot sight already mounted. It’s more common in Europe.
Glock 43X Rail Value

The average used Glock 43X Rail is worth $190 to $350. A new G43X Rail sells for $448 at retail.
The Glock 43X Rail is a 43X with a slim mounting rail. This makes it possible to easily mount accessories like weapon lights.
Glock 43 TALO Edition Value

The average used Glock 43 TALO is worth $220 to $390. A new G43 TALO sells for $539 at retail.
This is an edition that Glock released with TALO Distributors. The main difference from the standard G43 is that this one has AmeriGlo sights.
The rear UC sight is paired with a green tritium and orange-outline ProGlo front sight. A lot of people like these, but sight preferences vary.
Glock 43 Davidson’s Exclusives Value

The average used Glock 43 Davidson’s Exclusive is worth 50% to 65% of retail.
There are several of these! They do show up a lot in resale, though, so it’s worth talking about them in this article.
Davidson’s Glocks are customized versions of the Glock 43. For example, the Davidson’s Engraved Glock 43 isn’t engraved by Glock. Instead, the slide is Cerakoted and engraved by Davidson’s through the engravers at Altamont.
Glock 43 Vickers Tactical Value

The average used Glock 43 Vickers Tactical is worth $200 to $380.
This is another Glock 43 enhanced post-production, this time by Vickers Tactical. It comes with the Wilson Combat Rear Sight, AmeriGlo ProGlo tritium front sight, front cocking serrations, and the Tango Down Vickers Parts Kit.
The Tango Down kit includes an enhanced slide lock, magazine release, and two extended magazine base plates. It’s an upgraded G43 for out-of-the-box concealed carry. Retail was about $538.

A Side Note: The Glock 43 vs the Glock 43X

You probably noticed that G43s and G43Xs have the same MSRP but sell for different amounts when used. The Glock 43 X often gets more in resale because it’s a slightly bigger 43 with higher capacity.
Here are the key differences between the Glock 43 and Glock 43X:
- Size: The Glock 43 is smaller and easier to conceal than the 43X.
- Weight: The Glock 43 weighs 20.64 oz against the 43X’s 23.07 oz.
- Capacity: The Glock 43 has 6 rounds vs. the 43X’s 10 rounds.
- Finishes: The Glock 43X also offers a silver-black finish that the 43 doesn’t.
- Magazines: Glock 43 magazines don’t fit in the Glock 43X, and vice versa.
Ultimately, Glock 43s are preferred by those seeking a more concealable subcompact. 43Xs are preferred by those who want improved control (through added grip length) and capacity.
Value Factor 3: Glock 43 Finishes

Glock 43 9mm values can go up if the gun isn’t the standard black. Here are the finishes that Glock produces straight from the factory by tinting the polymer (so the color can’t be scratched off):
- Black - The default color.
- FDE or Flat Dark Earth - Rare.
- Gray - Rare.
- Battlefield Green - Rare.
Valuation: The rare factory-colored G43s sell faster. Add around $20 to them in resale. With matching color magazines and backstraps, add another $15.
Value Factor 4: Upgrades and Accessories

Glock 43s aren’t very often customized or upgraded. The Glock 43X MOS and Rail versions can be customized, though, due to their slide cuts for micro-optics and accessory rails.
So, how much for a Glock 43 with custom parts or bundled accessories? Here are some estimates for great-condition parts from known brands.

Upgraded, Threaded, or Fluted Barrels
Expect the most interest in barrels that are both drop-in and match-grade. You can even get Glock factory ones.
Value retention: 30% to 50% of retail
Aftermarket Grips
Good if you want to improve control, although they can also be purely decorative. Talon ones tend to be popular.
Value retention: 20% to 40% of retail
Sights or Optics
Obviously easiest to add to the 43X MOS guns, they’re good for enhanced accuracy. Trijicon and RMSc are the ones we see most.
Value retention: 30% to 50% of retail
Weapon Lights
These aren’t very common because they add bulk, but they’re good for dim-area use. Streamlight is the most popular option we see.
Value retention: 30% to 50% of retail
Spare Magazines
Even the 43X doesn’t carry that much in its single-stack mag! So, spare magazines are often popular.
Value retention: $10 to $15 per spare mag
