Value Factor 2: G20 Models or Variants
The Glock 20 has been released in several variants. Below are some of the most common in the resale market.
Glock 20 Gen 2 Value

The average used Glock 20 Gen 2 is worth $200 to $450.
This was the first iteration of the gun. Introduced in 1991, it came with all of the standard Gen 2 features. Textured front and rear grips, no finger grooves, no accessory rail, etc.
Like all Gen 2 guns, it’s no longer in production.
Glock 20 Gen 3 Value

The average used Glock 20 Gen 3 is worth $200 to $400. A new G20 Gen 3 sells for $500 at retail.
The G20 Gen 3 is the California-compliant version of the pistol. Obviously, it’s typically sold with the 10-round mags in California instead of the stock 15.
Glock discontinued it in 2025, but you can still find it with a fair number of dealers. Most have it discounted now or set at clearance prices, however.
Glock 20SF Value

The average used Glock 20SF is worth $200 to $450. A new G20SF sells for $550 at retail.
The G20SF started out as a Gen 2 Glock that’s pretty much the same as the standard version. The main difference was that it’s on a shorter frame with reduced trigger reach and grip width.
The current version of the Glock 20SF is now built on the Gen 3 version of the G20, however.
Glock 20 Gen 4 Value

The average used Glock 20 Gen 4 is worth $200 to $400. A new G20 Gen 4 sells for $500 at retail.
The G20 Gen 4 is another of the discontinued variants of the handgun. You can still find it at some dealers, like the Gen 3.
Obviously, this sports improvements over Gen 3 common to all Gen 4 guns. These include the dual recoil spring system designed to reduce felt recoil and the reversible mag release.
Glock 20 Gen 5 MOS Value

The average used Glock 20 Gen 5 MOS is worth $240 to $500. A new G20 Gen 5 MOS sells for $650 at retail.
This is the main in-production variant of the G20 at the moment. It’s also the most modern version of the gun, fitted with the nDLC finish, Glock’s modular backstraps, and the Gen 5 grip texturing.
Of course, it also comes with an optics-ready slide, as indicated by its MOS designation. That’s why you can sell a G20 pretty easily with an optic.

Value Factor 3: Accessories or Upgrades

Generally, you can sell gun accessories with your Glock 20 if they’re of excellent quality and manufacture. Otherwise, you may struggle, especially as most buyers are only interested in the firearm itself.
If you want to sell your G20 with a lot of accessories, try us. We buy accessories regularly (and even ammo!).
Original Box and Papers
Most buyers appreciate the traditional Glock Tupperware box and papers. You may be able to sell yours if they’re in pristine condition.
Value: Around $5 to $15 for the matching box and papers.
Spare Magazines
These are fairly easy to sell because most people want spares. They usuall go for $20 to $30 at retail.
Value: Around $7 to $15 per spare mag.
Optics
Again, only relevant if your G20 is an MOS or has received optic cuts for the slide. Ones from brands like Holosun will sell the fastest.
Value: Around 30% to 50% of the accessory’s original value.
