How We Appraise Glock 26 Models

There are 5 main G26 models available in the used market: Glock 26 Gen 2.5 (Original Variant), Glock 26 Gen 3, Glock 26 Gen 4, Glock 26 Gen 5, and Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS.

Glock 26 Gen 2.5 Value (Original Model)

The average used Glock 26 Gen 2.5 is worth $200 to $300.

This is the original Glock 26, often called the Gen 2.5. It was released in the mid-1990s, so it's really one of the Gen 2 Glocks. It just had some of the Gen 3 features too.

Some will call it a Gen 1 Glock 26 just because it's the first version of the G26 though. It lacks an accessory rail and has early-style finger grooves.

While it’s the first version of the pistol, it doesn’t usually carry significant collector value since it's easy enough to find.

Glock 26 Gen 3 Value

The average used Glock 26 Gen 3 is worth $180 to $360. Brand new, this sells for $499 at retail.

The Glock 26 Gen 3 is one of the most common versions. Its main changes from the original were a more aggressive grip texture and an updated internal extractor.

Glock 26 Gen 4 Value

The average used Glock 26 Gen 4 is worth $180 to $375. It originally sold for $499.

The Glock 26 Gen 4 introduced a few upgrades. It came with a new dual recoil spring assembly to reduce recoil, a more aggressive grip texture, and interchangeable backstraps.

Glock 26 Gen 5 Value

The average used Glock 26 Gen 5 is worth $200 to $385. At retail, a Glock 26 Gen 5 costs $569.

The Glock 26 Gen 5 is the main in-production version. It has a flared magwell, no finger grooves, and Glock’s Marksman Barrel for improved accuracy. It also has an ambidextrous slide stop and upgraded internal parts.

Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS Value

The average used Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS is worth $276 to $404. At retail, a new Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS sells for $650.

The difference between this and the regular Gen 5 is the factory optic cuts. The Gen 5 MOS comes with a modular optic system cut on the slide, making it red-dot-ready. Aside from that, it's the same as the G26 Gen 5.
