What Affects the Value of a Ruger P95?
The value of a used Ruger P95 is affected by its condition, variant, and accessories.
Value Factor 1: Condition

Used Ruger P95 value depends mainly on its condition.
Firearms have their condition graded into several tiers. If you’re not sure what condition your Ruger P95 is in, you may have to get it appraised by a professional.
This costs a fee at most shops (although we do it free online at Cash for Arms). Once you do know your gun’s condition tier, you can check the price guide below.

Value Factor 2: Variant

Ruger made two versions of the P95.
The first one is the early-model variant, with a glossy black polymer frame and no accessory rail. The second, late-model P95 had a matte polymer frame and an accessory rail.
Generally, buyers prefer the second model. Of course, individual buyer preferences may vary.
Value difference: A late-model or matte-frame Ruger P95 costs around 15% more than an early-model or glossy-frame one.

Value Factor 3: Accessories

Some accessories can improve the price of a Ruger P95, such as lasers or extra mags.
However, the Ruger P95 isn’t often upgraded or customized due to its original price. You don’t generally upgrade a gun with accessories that cost more than it does!
As such, most people selling a Ruger P95 aren’t likely to add things like a Trijicon or even Holosun to the package. If you have one of those, we advise selling them separately.
Anyway, these are the accessories you should actually consider selling with your gun, if you have them:
The Original P95 Plastic Box
If you have the original Ruger P95 packaging, you may want to include it in the sale. This gray, hard-plastic box can help bump up the price of the gun in some cases.
Value: Depending on the condition of the box, can add around $10 in value.
Extra P95 Magazines
The P95 has decent-sized mags at 15 rounds each, but with a gun this willing to go through any kind of ammo, more mags are always good. Throw in your spares if you want to boost your Ruger P95 value.
Value: Depending on the condition of the magazines, can add around $15 per extra mag.
Laser Sight
The P95 with a rail can take most laser sights, like the GTOX/FLX47. If yours is in decent condition, you can try to offer it with your used Ruger P95.
Value: Depending on brand and condition, the laser can retain up to 50% of its value.
