Price Factor 2: Variant
There are three main variants of the Ruger SR9: the Ruger SR9, the Ruger SR9E and the Ruger SR9c.
Ruger SR9 Price

The average Ruger SR9 is usually worth $90 to $345.
This is the most recognizable version of the gun, a full-sized pistol chambered for 9mm. Its magazine holds either 17+1 or 10 rounds. It can come with either stainless steel or black alloy slides.
But if your SR9 was made from October 2007 to April 2008, it may be worth around 20% less. These pistols were recalled for a safety issue. If it was retrofitted by Ruger with a new trigger group to fix the issue, however, its value should be intact.
Brand-new, the Ruger SR9 used to sell for around $500.
Ruger SR9E Price

The average Ruger SR9E is usually worth $90 to $250.
The SR9E is nearly the same gun as the standard SR9. It just removes some of the refinements in exchange for a lower price.
Brand-new, the Ruger SR9E used to sell for around $400. It was available only in a black alloy slide and has a flatter, less polished slide top than the SR9.
It’s also a bit heavier, has a fixed rear sight, a different front sight, and an integral barrel ramp. It replaces the SR9’s loaded-chamber indicator with a viewport in the barrel hood.
Ruger SR9c Price

The average Ruger SR9c is usually worth $90 to $250.
It was introduced to the market in January 2010. It was designed for people who wanted a smaller and lighter SR9 with the same grip width and similar features.
This is probably the most well-liked version of the gun, especially for concealed-carry enthusiasts. Compact and durable, it also boasts a dual-recoil spring assembly.
Brand-new, the Ruger SR9c used to sell for around $400.
Price Factor 3: Accessories

Some accessories can help bring up Ruger SR9 prices. These are the ones we see packaged most often in used bundles of these guns:
Extra Magazines
The pistols used to come with two magazines, but most buyers will purchase spares if you have them. Throw them into your bundle for a mild but nice bump in Ruger SR9 price.
Value: Around $12 per Ruger 17-round mag or 10-round mag, $10 per ProMag 32-round extended mag.
Original Ruger SR9 Hard Case Box
Some buyers will pay for the factory case that the SR9s came in. If yours is in good condition (and has items like the original manual), try offering it to your buyer.
Value: Around $12 to $16 for the box.
