How We Calculate Used Walther PPQ Values
Walther PPQ value is affected mainly by its condition, model, and accessories or upgrades.
Caliber can also affect value. Usually, the Walther PPQ .22 LR is worth less than the Walther PPQ 9 mm, for example. That's because there is often higher demand for 9mm guns.
For the same reason, Walther PPQ 45 models tend to be on the higher end of value (because this is another popular caliber).
Condition and Value

Better-condition guns are worth more.
You need a professional appraisal of your gun's condition to find its official grade, but this often costs money. We do it for free, though: just submit the gun's details to us.

Once you know the grade, you can usually estimate Walther PPQ value through these:

- Wear marks are in the inescapable areas

How We Appraise PPQ Models
Different PPQ models have different values. We’ll cover the ones we often see in both the used and new markets.
Walther PPQ Tactical Navy Value

The average used Walther PPQ Tactical Navy is worth $240 to $480.
The PPQ Tactical Navy was designed for maritime operations. A drainage hole in the striker channel helps in case of weapon flooding, along with a stronger striker spring. It also has a threaded muzzle.
Walther PPQ M2 Value

The average used Walther PPQ M2 is worth $250 to $560. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ M2 9mm and .45 sells for $779.
The PPQ M2 is the second generation, introduced in 2013. It replaced the ambidextrous mag release levers with the thumb-release push-button design.
Note that it’s not compatible with the first-generation PPQ magazines. It's the most common version today though. The Walther PPQ 45 and Walther PPQ 9mm retail values are also about the same for this model.
Walther PPQ M2 SC Value

The average used Walther PPQ M2 SC is worth $250 to $450.
The Walther PPQ M2 Sub-Compact has a bilateral release, Picatinny rail mount, and the classic M2 look in a smaller package. It’s only 4.4” tall yet has options for both 10-round and 15-round mags!
Walther PPQ 22 Value

The average used Walther PPQ 22 M2 is worth $140 to $280. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ 22 sells for $479.
This brings the popular rimfire caliber to the PPQ. It has nearly all the same features as the 9mm or higher-caliber versions, but typically retails for less.
Walther PPQ Q4 SF Optic Ready Value

The average used Walther PPQ Q4 SF OR is worth $300 to $720. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ Q4 SF OR sells for $1,499.
The OR or optic-ready PPQ Q4 is a steel-framed version of the beloved 9mm model. This is more often positioned as a competition-ready version of the polymer PPQ variants.
Walther PPQ Q5 Match Value

The average used Walther PPQ Q5 Match is worth $350 to $700. At retail, the brand-new PPQ Q5 Match sells for $1,049.

Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Pro Value

The average used Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Pro is worth $650 to $1300. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ 9 mm Q5 Match SF sells for $1,999.

Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Patriot Value

The average used Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Patriot is worth $1,400 to $2,900. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Patriot sells for $3,999.
This is one of Walther’s Meister Manufaktur collectible PPQ models. This makes it a limited-edition gun, engraved in Italy with US-inspired designs and Tenifer nitride-treated.
Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Vintage Value

The average used Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Vintage is worth $1,500 to $3,000. At retail, the brand-new Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF Vintage sells for $4,499.
This is another of the collectible PPQ limited-editions. Its main distinguishing feature is the case-color-hardened finish.

How Accessories Affect What We Pay for Your PPQ

Some accessories and upgrades can improve a PPQ handgun's valuation, but not all.
Don't expect a heavily modified PPQ to recoup modification expenses, for example. Custom Walther PPQ valuation is rarely good since most people just want the original gun.
Original Box and Papers
Depending on which model you have, the factory box and papers can improve PPQ value. This is more likely to affect a collectible Walther PPQ, though.
Value: Usually adds $15 to $25
Spare Magazines
The factory extended magazines are usually popular with buyers. It’s generally recommended to sell them with the gun.
Value: Can add $7 to $15 per magazine
Optics
These are obviously only considerations if your PPQ is optic-ready. Don’t expect to sell them unless they’re from good brands (Holosun, Trijicon, etc.) and great condition.
Value: Can add 30% to 50% of retail
